Moodhan

Moodhan is India's 1st PPP and student-led social enterprise tackling one of India’s most overlooked climate challenges - methane emissions from cow shelters and dairies. By partnering with gaushalas and commercial farms, Moodhan introduces low-cost, high-yield interventions such as biogas units, improved feed additives, and ration balancing. These solutions reduce methane output while improving animal health and energy efficiency. The resulting emission cuts are quantified, verified, and monetized as carbon credits under India’s upcoming Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS) and voluntary carbon markets.

Beyond technical work, Moodhan focuses on awareness, research, and policy advocacy, demonstrating how grassroots innovations can align with national sustainability goals. What began as a debate motion in IIT Delhi Frankenstein Debates has now evolved into a scalable framework bridging climate finance and rural livelihoods.

The Gullak Project (thegullakproject.org) is a student-led initiative to spread financial literacy among children at NGOs by distributing gullaks (piggybanks) and running hands-on sessions that demystify saving, inflation, and the basics of investing. Our mission is to shift mindsets away from India’s culture of “under-the-mattress” savings toward simple, goal-based money habits. To date, we’ve partnered with 8+ NGOs across 2 states - including the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment’s Centre for the Study of Social Change (CSSC) - and have given out 300+ gullaks (100+ in collaboration with TribesforGood), reaching an estimated 1,500+ individuals. We conduct workshops in two local languages- English, Hindi, a- to make content accessible and culturally relevant, and we pair each distribution with short activities that help students set savings goals and track progress at home. The project has raised ~₹200,000 to fund materials and delivery, enabling us to expand programming and deepen impact in underserved communities.

I led a community collection drive that raised 5,000+ toys and books and ran awareness campaigns through social posts to support children’s education. Donations were directed to Udte Raho’s Children’s Library (Rajasthan) and the SABIA Rotaract Club, South Bombay. I served as Director, and Assistant Director, Partners - In - Service, guiding a 60+ member team to plan, execute, and distribute the collections.

Diplomatique@India

I am the Founder and National Chapter Leader of Diplomatique (India), the country’s official arm of a global, youth-led diplomacy and SDG network. I built a national team across five states, launched the India Chapter, and mentor local Club Presidents to drive inter-club collaboration and impact tracking. I also coordinate India’s priorities with active chapters in the USA, Turkey, Ethiopia, and Brazil, contributing to a 700+ member network and aligning projects to shared SDG goals.

During my summer outreach with TribesforGood, I partnered with 3+ NGOs to deliver finance education. At school, I helped organize a bake sale that raised ₹18,000, which we donated as books and stationery to Raksha, where I also taught the basics of accountancy and investing. I led a SUPW workshop to build financial literacy among our school’s support staff and contributed to the school’s Financial Awareness Drive, teaching younger students about Consumer Rights. Separately, I mentored 200+ students at the Raksha Centre (2 hours daily through the summer)
